Terms of Service and Terms of Sale
Welcome to SEO Candyland. These terms explain how you can use our website and what to expect when you buy one of our digital products. We’ve tried to keep them clear and friendly. Please read them before you buy. By using our website or buying a product, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
SEO Candyland is a search engine optimization agency based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, helping businesses with their websites since 1997.
- Business name: SEO Candyland Inc., operating as SEO Candyland
- Owner and operator: Cassandra Dawson
- Mailing address: 170-422 Richards St, Vancouver, BC V6B 2Z4
- Email: info@seocandyland.com
In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” mean SEO Candyland. “You” means the person using our website or buying our products, and the business you buy for.
2. Using our website
You’re welcome to browse our website, read our content and download our free resources. When you use the site, please:
- Use it only for lawful purposes.
- Don’t try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or the systems behind it.
- Don’t copy large parts of the site or republish our content as your own.
We work to keep the site available and accurate, but we can’t promise it will always be online, error-free, or up to date.
3. Our digital products
We currently sell these digital products:
| Product | Price |
|---|---|
| Audit, Optimize, Amaze: The 30-Day DIY SEO Workbook by Cassandra Dawson (PDF) | US$27 |
| Editable Worksheet Pack (Word and Excel versions of the workbook’s worksheets, plus a printable wall chart), offered as an add-on at checkout | US$9 |
Early-bird price: From November 4, 2026 at 6 AM PT to November 10, 2026 at 8:59 PM PT, the workbook is available for US$19. After the early-bird period ends, the price is US$27. The early-bird price doesn’t apply to purchases made before or after these dates.
Prices may change from time to time. You pay the price shown at checkout when you place your order.
4. Payment
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. All prices are in US dollars (USD). If your card is in another currency, your bank or card issuer will convert the amount and may charge its own exchange or foreign transaction fees. Your bank sets those fees, not us.
We don’t see or store your full card details. Stripe handles them under its own terms and privacy policy.
5. Taxes
Prices may not include sales taxes. Where we’re required to collect sales tax (for example, GST, HST or PST in Canada, or other taxes where you live), it will be added and shown at checkout before you pay.
6. Delivery
Our products are digital and delivered instantly. After your payment goes through, you’ll see a download page, and we’ll also email your download links to the address you used at checkout. If you don’t receive the email within an hour, please check your spam or promotions folder and then contact us at info@seocandyland.com. We’ll make sure you get your files.
We don’t ship anything physical.
7. Our guarantee
We want you to get real value from the workbook, so it comes with this guarantee:
Do the Day 0 baseline and work through the daily worksheets for 30 days. If you haven’t found at least 10 specific fixes for your firm’s website, send us your completed worksheets within 60 days of purchase and we’ll refund every dollar.
How it works:
- To request a refund, email your completed worksheets to info@seocandyland.com within 60 days of purchase, along with the email address you used to buy.
- The refund covers the workbook and any Editable Worksheet Pack you bought with it in the same order.
- We’ll refund the original payment method through Stripe. Depending on your bank, it can take 5 to 10 business days to appear.
- Once we issue a refund, your licence to use the products ends. Please delete your copies.
Because our products are digital and delivered instantly, we don’t otherwise offer refunds once you have access to the files. This doesn’t limit any rights you have under consumer protection laws that apply to you. If something goes wrong with your files or your payment (for example, a broken download or a duplicate charge), contact us, and we’ll fix it.
8. Your licence: what you can and can’t do
When you buy a product, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for yourself and for one business (your own business or the one you work for).
You may:
- Download, print and fill in the workbook and worksheets as often as you like.
- Share completed worksheets with people who work on your business’s website, such as your staff, web developer, or writer.
- Keep backup copies for your own use.
You may not:
- Resell, share, give away, upload or post the workbook, the worksheets or the wall chart, in whole or in part, including in a members’ area, course, shared drive or file-sharing site.
- Use the products to teach, coach or consult for other businesses or clients.
- Remove our name, copyright notices or credits.
- Present the content as your own or use it to create a competing product.
If you’d like to use our products for more than one business, team, agency, or group, email us at info@seocandyland.com, and we’ll be happy to discuss a licence that fits.
9. Intellectual property
Everything on our website and in our products, including the text, worksheets, checklists, designs, graphics and our logo, belongs to SEO Candyland and Cassandra Dawson and is protected by copyright and other laws. Buying a product gives you the licence in section 8, not ownership of the content. All rights not granted to you are reserved.
10. No guaranteed results
SEO depends on many things outside anyone’s control, including search engine changes, AI tools, your competitors, your website, and how consistently you do the work. We share methods we’ve used for decades, but we can’t and don’t promise any specific rankings, traffic, leads, AI citations or revenue. Examples in our products, including the fictional Glenvale Injury Law, are for illustration only.
11. Educational information, not legal or professional advice
Our products and content are for general educational purposes. They aren’t legal, accounting, tax or other professional advice. Many of our readers are law firms. Nothing in our products is advice about legal advertising or professional conduct rules. Please check your website content and marketing with your law society or your own advisers where those rules apply to you.
12. Free resources and emails
When you sign up for a free resource such as our Site Audit Checklist, we’ll send it to the email address you give us.
- Consent: We’ll only send you marketing emails (tips, updates and offers) if you’ve agreed to receive them, as required by Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). We record your consent, including the date and how you gave it.
- Purchase emails: If you buy from us, we’ll send emails about your order, such as receipts and download links. These are transactional emails, and you’ll get them even if you don’t sign up for marketing emails.
- Unsubscribe any time: Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and our mailing address. You can also email info@seocandyland.com to be removed. We’ll process unsubscribe requests within 10 business days, and usually much sooner.
How we collect, use and protect your information is explained in our Privacy Policy: https://www.seocandyland.com/privacy-policy/.
13. Third-party tools and links
Our products and website mention and link to third-party tools and services, such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics and PageSpeed Insights. We don’t own or control them. Their features, prices, and terms can change at any time, and their own terms and privacy policies govern your use of them. We may use third-party providers to run our business, such as Stripe for payments and GoHighLevel for our website, checkout and emails. We aren’t responsible for third-party services, although we’ll always try to help if something goes wrong with your order. “Some links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.”
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- Our website and products are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind beyond those that the law requires.
- We aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data, lost business or ranking drops, arising from your use of our website, products or any changes you make to your website.
- Our total liability to you for any claim about a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.
Before you make changes to your website, please back it up. The workbook shows you how. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can’t be limited under the law that applies to you.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. You and we agree that any dispute will be handled in the courts of British Columbia, unless consumer protection laws where you live allow you to bring it elsewhere. If you have a problem, please email us first. Most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, for example when we add a new product or the law changes. We’ll post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. The terms in place when you made a purchase apply to that purchase.
17. Other details
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don’t enforce a term right away, that doesn’t mean we’ve given up the right to do so later. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about our website and products.
